I’ve been going to Ki-Hun Lee for about 10 years.
My main problem is arthritis.
After a combination of massage treatment & microcurrent, I am pain free, relaxed & full of energy.
Being a fibromyalgia sufferer, I have long searched for treatments that will alleviate my pain without pharmaceutical intervention. I’ve tried physiotherapists, acupuncturists, RMTs, biofeedback and osteopaths. However, my fibromyalgia specialist suggested that I look into microcurrent and find a qualified practitioner, as new research was showing it had a very positive impact on pain. I found Ki-Hun and booked an evaluation.
I’m a skeptic by nature – I generally like to attend a series of treatments before rendering final judgement. From the beginning, Ki-Hun had an uphill battle in me – I arrived with pain ranked 9 on a 10 scale (I view 10 as being pain so bad you can’t stop crying, or get thoroughly nauseated as a result). My mother even had to take me there by carrying my purse for me, as my pain was mainly in my shoulders. Before the appointment, I just wanted something – anything – to ease the miserable pain.
Throughout that appointment I was amazed at how delicate and gentle Ki-Hun was in his work. He addressed muscle knots from my head to my feet, focusing on the particularly painful shoulders and back, but though his touch was so gentle it never once made me wince or complain. By the time the session was done my muscles were well on their way to being completely relaxed, and I could confidently rate my pain as a 4 out of 10.
Skeptic though I always was, I could not deny that the microcurrent combined with Ki-Hun’s massage were highly effective for me. I am pleased to say that after almost a year of seeing him I still get these positive results, and we have experimented with microcurrent further to address other systemic problems (that is, going from muscle knots to addressing some of my insomnia and hormonal imbalances). I wouldn’t trade Ki-Hun for the most famous of therapists – I can’t say he is worth his weight in gold, because he is worth far, far more!
